On behalf of Buccleuch Property Developments (Scotland) Ltd, Justin Lamb Associates have secured a preferred bidder for the 16.41 ha (40.57 acres) of land located on the southern edge of the village of Whitecraig, adjacent to Whitecraig Primary School.

The site is currently in agricultural use and is zoned in the East Lothian Development Plan (2018) for 300 units (25%) with capacity to increase unit numbers, subject to planning consent.
