Justin Lamb Associates was appointed by the landowner, West Register (RBS), to deliver a market aligned Detailed Planning Consent, carry out due diligence on the land to confirm its suitability for residential development, and work with RBS to sell the land to the residential house building sector.

The project included the co-ordination of the Detailed Planning Application process, including community consultation in relation to the new planning application.

Detailed Planning Consent was achieved within 12 months from commencement of work on the project.  The land sale process commenced post planning consent, with a detailed sales strategy being prepared and approved by West Register.

The sales strategy progressed with a conditional legal contract concluded with a national house builder for the purchase of the land.  This process included evaluating and negotiating all Abnormal Costs and agreeing a net land price that optimised the return for RBS.
