Justin Lamb Associates provides professional advice on residential land, planning and development matters to clients across Scotland, operating from the Borders to the Highlands.

Our principle objective is to provide the best advice available to our clients on the strategy to maximise value from their land and buildings, and implement the agreed strategy to a successful outcome for the client.

We offer independent advice which allows us to focus on the best solutions for our clients, and ensure that the professional project teams are tailored to suit the specific requirements of the client and the site.

Justin Lamb MRICS

Justin Lamb has 20 years’ experience in the residential land and house building sector.  Justin has since 2009 advised landowners on the optimum land strategy to promote and dispose of residential land, having previously been Regional Board Director of Land and Planning for a national housebuilder.  Justin Lamb is a Planning and Development Chartered Surveyor.

Andrew Trigger MRTPI

Andrew Trigger joined the company in September 2017 as an Associate.  Andrew is a Chartered Town Planner with over 10 years’ planning experience in local and national government.  His previous role was identifying, securing and promoting strategic land across Scotland for a national housebuilder.

Nicola McCowan Hill MRICS MRTPI

Nicola McCowan Hill joined Justin Lamb Associates in November 2016 as an Associate. Nicola is a qualified Chartered Town Planner with residential development surveying experience and has worked previously as Land Manager for a Scottish housebuilder, a Planning Officer in a local authority and a Planning Advisor to Homes for Scotland.

Kate Narro

Kate Narro joined the company in March 2015 as an Associate. Kate has over 10 years’ commercial agency experience, having worked in the Land and Development team for a firm of estate agents selling residential land and buildings, and for an international commercial property agency.

Iain MacPhail

Iain MacPhail joined the team in April 2016 as an Associate.  Iain previously worked for The City of Edinburgh Council specialising in the operation, development and implementation of the Affordable Housing Policy for 10 years.  Iain specialises in providing advice on Affordable Housing matters.

Morag Welsh

Morag Welsh joined in the supporting role of Office Manager in January 2018.  Morag has a wealth of experience in commercial real estate, having spent 24 years working as a PA for Cushman & Wakefield in both their Edinburgh and Glasgow offices.
